By booking with Wild Canvas, you enter into a binding contract with us.
All guests must be registered on the booking; unregistered guests may be refused entry due to limited site capacity.
Our glamping units (bell tents) include four beds; extra beds/bedding are chargeable.
Regular camping is charged per person and booked by pitch, glamping is booked by unit and includes up for 4 people.
Infants aged 0–3 stay free as regular campers but must be added to your booking.
Minimum stays: 2 nights for camping/campervans and 3 nights for furnished bell tents.
Prices remain the same for late arrivals or early departures.
No camping tents may be pitched beside glamping units unless part of the same group. Contact us for group glamping bookings.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
General
No pets allowed, except registered guide/support dogs with documentation.
No unsupervised guests under 18 without prior agreement.
Alcohol consumption is prohibited for anyone under 18.
Open fires only in raised fire pits; no fires on the ground.
BBQs must be raised; no gas stoves in or next to tents.
Acoustic music is welcome.
Music at the bar ends by midnight on weekends.
Small personal speakers are allowed as long as the levels do not disturb other campers; no amplified music after 10pm in the fields.
Illegal drugs, violence, or aggressive behaviour will result in removal from site without refund.
Please leave no trace.
Dispose of rubbish in the bins provided or take it home. Charges may apply for abandoned rubbish or equipment.
No fireworks, sky lanterns, weapons, generators or hazardous materials.
Smoking is permitted outdoors away from covered areas and children. Dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who does not follow these guidelines.
Site Safety
By booking, you acknowledge the natural risks of a riverside camping environment.
The riverbank is unfenced. Children must be supervised at all times.
Wild Canvas provides no lifeguards and accepts no responsibility for water use.
Booking and Payment
Full payment is required for your booking to be confirmed. Incomplete bookings may be cancelled.
A booking confirmation will be emailed after payment. Check your spam folder and contact us if not received.
The lead booker must be over 18.
Stay extensions are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellation
All cancellations must be emailed to us and are subject to the following:
30+ days before arrival: 10% non-refundable
14–29 days before arrival: 50% non-refundable
0–13 days before arrival: non-refundable
Refunds (where applicable) will be issued within 14 days using the original payment method.
Wild Canvas is not liable for refunds due to Force Majeure, including extreme weather, natural disasters, civil unrest, industrial action, or similar events beyond our control.
If you have not arrived by 12:00 noon on the day after your booking start date, your booking will be treated as cancelled with no refund.
Noise & Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are 11pm–8am in the camping fields.
Please be considerate of neighbouring campers at all times.
Vehicles
Please drive slowly and carefully; speed limit is 5mph.
Cars must remain in designated parking area, our camping fields are car free.
No EV charging
Drones
Drones are not permitted anywhere on site unless approved in writing by Wild Canvas management.
Lost Property
Lost property is kept for 14 days and then donated or disposed of.
We cannot post items but will hold them for collection within this period.
Liability
Wild Canvas Ltd., its staff and partners are not liable for loss or damage to guests’ property or for injuries sustained on site.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights or our liability for personal injury caused by our negligence.
